Traditional Evacuation Shelter Locations

Schoharie County has now posted evacuation information, including shelters. Unfortunately, the titling information is incomprehensible so in addition to giving you the link to new shelter sites, we are leaving the old shelter list posted below.

The incomprehensible titling says, "Schoharie County Gilboa Dam Failure Only Shelter Sites." We are not sure just what that means - are these shelters for a Gilboa Dam failure only (as opposed to a normal flood), or are they the sites of the only shelters that are to be set up? You may feel that the issue is picky but I can assure you after forty years in professional communications that some people will understand it each way and some will not understand it at all.
